Working with Golden Light

Golden Light Meditation

Begin either sitting or standing and reach your arms and heart up to the heavens. As you reach up you begin to see a huge ball of golden light far in the distance, radiating so strongly that you can feel its warmth and love shining down on you. Keep reaching and opening to this glowing attraction. Begin to feel the connection to this shining ball of golden light above you, in your heart center. As you connect, your intention starts to draw this golden light nearer to you. The warmth and love of the shining golden light above starts to slowly descend towards you. As you can see it drawing nearer to you, you begin to feel a pulsing deep within your heart center. Continue to reach up and open to it. As it starts to draw closer and closer to you, your upward reaching arms begin to open out to your sides slowly, reaching all the way out through your fingertips.This ball of beautiful golden light is now just above your head and you can feel its warmth and love tingling through your entire being. It begins to move right into you, entering at the top of your head and slowly moving down through your entire body. As it moves into you, your arms lower to your sides and you feel a sense of complete love, peace & light shining from every cell of your being. In blending with the beautiful golden light, you realize that this loving, radiating, powerful ball of golden light IS you. This golden light is the light of your soul, and you were looking up at your own brilliance. And now that you have said YES to your light, she can shine right through you for all the world and all the heavens to feel and see. This golden light is the light that will heal every aspect of your life and heal our planet. It will also attract anything or anyone that you are meant to connect with.

I learned this golden light meditation in college in an acting class and I have worked with it ever since, especially when I want to attract someone or something into my reality. It works! And people will tell you, "you are such a light!"

This weekly Light Body Yoga workshop taught by Shannon Port, will be a wonderful opportunity discover the creative power and inner wisdom of your body, breath and voice.

You will work with sacred teachings from many of the world's mystical traditions, that are designed to lead you right into your own inner light and guidance connecting you with the Divine wisdom and love of your inner teacher.
