In the tradition in which I study we talk a lot about self-healing and the regeneration of the soul. I am only now beginning to understand by a glimpse of my own healing process how profound the journey of self-healing is; it goes beyond what can be felt and seen by the five senses and into the realm of the unseen; for it is often the unseen forces which rule your life and cause you to act unconsciously choosing over and over again those things which cause you pain and suffering.
Self-healing means to look at oneself with total compassion and to see where you have chosen to move towards pain and darkness and then to send love to those fragments of yourself and choose again, replacing the old paradigm with a new paradigm. In the process of self-healing you learn to accept your shortcomings as a human being and appreciate your perfection as a soul. The goal of the journey is to awaken and manifest the power of your soul within your human psyche and body. This is ultimately the opening of your glorious and heavenly heart center. This is GRACE in its most realized form.
Self-healing is not required. At different checkpoints in your life you may be given the opportunity to heal at which point it is left up to your free will to choose it or pass on it. The more times you pass on healing, the deeper your denial becomes and the more pain and suffering you take on to be healed at a later time. The day you choose to heal is the day you choose to consciously evolve. This is the day you begin to wake up and "Know thyself."
Self-healing means to come into the totality of your being; to claim all the lost fragments of self and bring them into ONE SELF. In doing this work you shine the light on every aspect of your being and hide nothing. You become a transparent being of light. There is nothing left to fear and no part of yourself that remains hidden.
The choice to heal can come only from love; a deep courageous and profound love that desires to receive the gift of Wisdom.
Wisdom shines her light on anyone who earnestly seeks to know the truth. The pain of denial by far outweighs the labor of love that it takes to journey into self-healing.
