Authentic Power

When acting from a place of real power there is no need to rush things or hurry or scamper about dizzily. Real power is still. Real power is present to itself; it does not apologize and explain itself unnecessarily.

Real power does not feel obligated to do anything. Real power acts from wisdom, discernment and compassion. Real power does not talk nervously and explain itself endlessly.

Real power listens more than it speaks. Real power listens because real power knows that only in receiving can one give; only in listening can one gain insight into anything and offer anything of true value.

Real power does not sell itself for useless things or for the approval of others. Real power does not act insecure or less than. Real power comes from a very deep well of wisdom and love. Only through the marriage 
of wisdom and love can there be real and lasting power. There are many people who have love and no wisdom. The heart can cause just as much pain as the head when there is an absence of wisdom.

All power comes from within. There is only one way to access it and that is through self-acceptance. The only power of any worth in the world comes from self-acceptance.

When one learns to accept oneself authentically, the door to self-knowledge and real power begins to open. The road to self-acceptance comes through deep reflection and sincere longing to know the truth about oneself.

Real power does not run away from anything; it walks away if there is no need to experience something. Real power never hides. It always shows itself in the appropriate form.

The only way to have real power is to "know thyself."

Real power does not stuff itself or distract itself in order to not feel pain. Real power honors pain and listens to it with love and wisdom and compassion.

Real power is not afraid of pain. Pain is just as valid as love and just as natural. Pain asks for attention in order to show what is not working and what needs attention. To numb the pain is to deny the message. To deny the message is to prolong the growth.

From the source of real power within oneself, comes the ability to know and express oneself truthfully to the world.

This is the path of evolution and growth. This is the path of the soul.
